van:go! adds regular Leeds-Bristol overnight run to its services.
The van:go! terms of service are quite simple - we deliver, you pay!
Business customers
Each job is invoiced within 2 days of delivery.
Established account cutomers are required to settle invoices within 30 days of the invoice date.
For non-account business customers, payment is required either in advance, or upon collection of goods prior to delivery.
Payment is accepted via BACS transfer, cheque or credit/debit card. Note, our drivers are unable to take credit/debit card payments directly.
Private customers
Private customers are required to pay by credit/debit card in advance or by cash on collection of the consignment. Payment on delivery is not available.
Proof of Delivery
Confirmation of delivery is made by telephone as soon as is practical after delivery. A signed, timed and dated proof of delivery note is provided with each invoice. No delivery will be made without a signature from the recipient - either the addressee or such other person as is available at the delivery address.
Any problems encountered while trying to make a delivery will be notified to the customer by telephone as soon as is practical, in order to try and achieve a successful outcome. Any consignment not able to be delivered due to the unavailability of a suitable recipient will be charged at the full rate, and any subsequent re-delivery attempt will be charged as a new job, also at the full rate. All reasonable efforts will be made to successfully deliver the goods as originally agreed. But please remember, this is a 'sameday' delivery service. There is no 'local depot' for a consignment to be collected from later. You must ensure that the delivery address is open to accept goods in line with your delivery instructions.
If we fail to delivery your consignment as agreed, we will not charge / will refund the full amount AND will, if required, make the delivery free of charge on another day as agreed. This guarantee excludes non-delivery caused by events outside of our control and assumes we have failed to make all reasonable efforts to attempt delivery as originally agreed.
